About Morgan & Oates

Since the mid '70s the name of Morgan & Oates has been synonymous with the highest quality cashmere and fine wool accessories. In 2000 the company was bought by Calzeat Ltd, with the intention of further developing the brand within the Travel Retail business.

Calzeat Ltd, of Scotland, was established in 1974 to provide high quality textiles to the UK market. This business has expanded dramatically and today the company is well known in many areas of the world as one of the most renowned and reliable textile manufacturers. Some 34 years after its establishment, Calzeat is still a family owned company headed by Robin Galbraith and his sons ably supported by a professional team of full time designers and highly skilled employees.

Its wide range of customers includes such household names as Marks & Spencer and John Lewis in the UK to Takashimaya in Japan. It also manufactures for such brands as Burberry and Mulberry in the UK, and Polo in the USA. Many of the Designers in the famous Chelsea Harbour in London use materials and products produced by the Calzeat group of companies.

For travel retail, the Morgan & Oates designers have created a range of scarves, stoles, wraps and even Teddy Bears in the softest Mohair, Cashmere, Cashmere / silk and Cashmere / Merino. Quality value and innovation are the core essentials of our business.

We believe strongly in personal relationships with clients and have a dedicated travel retail sales team lead by sales director worldwide Kevin Galbraith and consultant Jeannie Archer of JA Associates.
